You know what I could do with right about now?
A new Bill Callahan album. We have to be due one soon I imagine. He's generally consistent with releasing an album every two years. A new BC album would be just the tonic.....

I'm still working my way through the Smog back catalogue
but yeah, I could go for a new one. He is generally consistent too.
Where you at with Smog?
I've got the follow
Red Apple Falls, Knock Knock, Rain on Lens (barely listened to this one), Dongs of Sevotion, Supper (or this one) and A River Ain't Too Much to Love.
Knock Knock I'd count as one of my favourite albums ever.

Yeah, Rain On Lens is a weak point
but still got some good stuff on it if you give it a chance.
Knock Knock is amazing, yes.
Try and have a listen to a song called Extra Blues which is on the Pola X soundtrack. It seems to be little known and is fantastic. Also give Accumulation None a go. If you keep going back in time, it gets more lo-fi. I think I prefer him post Red Apple Falls, an album where his songs seem to start getting less lo fi and that rich baritone begins to develop. But he still did great stuff before that.
Just realised I didn't mention Accumulation: None
I bought that recently, it's incredible. I Break Horses kills me.
I'll check out that track, cheers. Still need to get his first solo album too but I have I Wish... and Apocalypse.
Woke On A Whaleheart gets a bad rap I think
It's not his best but the first track is gorgeous and Diamond Dancer is AM radio heaven.
Damn it, that was a reply failure.
I would just like to add, as a semi non-sequitur, that I think I could listen to Let Me See The Colts on repeat for ever.
Woke on a Whaleheart is a lovely record
Didn't realise it got a bad rap
