Tickets on sale Friday. It's most exciting.
(I was too excited.)
Does this mean they're likely for Glasto?
according to the gig listings on ticketmaster (bar the ones starting at £88 at the O2 in London)
No. No fucking way.
Middle class parents in their 50s and 60s who have a shit load of disposable income since their kids left home. These people won't bat an eyelid at that kind of ticket price and there's more than enough of them to fill the o2 easily.
Now it's almost double that, and I'm far poorer than 4 years ago.
If The Knife are shit, I'm giving up on gigs :(
£137.50 though.... what a shower of cunts.
Was £80 last time they toured. They sold out none of the sections in Sheffield (don't know about the other dates mind).
Big live gigs are now the domain of rich bankers and businessmen. No chance could I afford this.
Also, why the hell has the NME suddenly started writing about Fleetwood Mac every single day in their 'news' section? Any move they make is reported! Combine that with the fact that the Rolling Stones have the most nominees in their awards and it's pretty sorry state of affairs for the NEW musical express!
If anyone is genuinely willing to pay more than £140 then they're welcome to it.
for tickets if they were around £60 for ok-ish seats for me and my dad. Two Rogers Waters tickets set me back around £170.
