Really liking Tegan & Sara's new LP 'Heartthrob'.

Not sure how this will go down in DiS circles as it's unashamedly pop music inspired by radio friendly bands from the 80s like the Bangles, T'Pau, Roxette, Cyndi Lauper et al, yet it does it really well. A nice little homage to teenage longing and broken hearts.

Really enjoying it.

I like their stuff and they're great live too. "So Jealous" and "If I Was You"

are great albums. I saw them live for the fifth or sixth time a few months ago at The Forum; excellent gig. From Amazon I see that their new album is out in a couple of weeks. Is it streaming anywhere?

It's good.

Not sure if its great yet. Some of their lyrical choices are a little strange, but then they've always been like that.
