looks like i'm going solo but who gives a shit
Coming solo from Coventry. Trying very hard now to sit still and not run around like a 5yr old who's guzzled down a tube of blue Smarties.
So happy, couldn't go to the March gig as I'm off to Korea in 3 weeks. This has worked out fantastic!
but have booked one for Brixton Electric. Their gig at The ICA remains one of my best ever gigs. What's Brixton Electric like? Anyone been?
saw them both nights there, it was so good the roundhouse one just didn't seem good in comparison.
was an absolutely stunning gig. I went to two of The Roundhouse gigs later on. They were good but I'll remember the ICA gig for decades.
my hearing has genuinely never quite been the same.
was next to you. I remember a young guy happily jumping around on the spot up front being old off rather politely by security.
there was a girl going mental
stood towards the extreme right hand side when facing the stage, in front of Kevin and the amps. Looking forward to the Brixton gig but The ICA gig was phenomenal
It was stupidly loud. My ears rang for about a week.
I like the way that tickets are onsale as soon as it is announced, instead of everyone queueing with the touts at 9am on a Friday.
Quite a high stage, and raised area at the back and the side, so most people should get a good view. I've seen Primal Scream and Death in Vegas there.
i'm in London that weekend but leaving Sunday afternoon :(((((((
ones that actually attenuate rather than turn everything to mud a la industry standard yellow ones.
Many tossers will end up touting them for big profits but I guess it prevents them being put on ebay to a certain extent. A MBV gig in two weeks! BRILLIANT.
they will go for big profits. The 2 March Hammersmith gigs aren't sold out yet.
Glad I slept on the Hammersmith shows now. Just booked a ticket!
thanks for the heads up
It's my partner's birthday. And she doesn't want to come. Am I a bad person?
For not liking MBV.
It's my son's first birthday.
Thanks for the heads-up. Slightly terrified at the thought of seeing (or rather hearing) MBV in such a small venue...
it's really been tarted up since its days as the fridge. bar is expensive (£5 a beer). but good viewing places.
i'm so excited about this, i managed to get two off wegottickets last night - any news on a support yet?
However, they were advertised as 'rehersals'.
