This is my first listen to a Tindersticks album, so its a standard "what next" thread. Go to the much-heralded first couple of albums, or work my way up to that with the better recent efforts?

I have to shamefully admit to dismissing them before...I'd heard good things but always assumed the were a bit...novel. Like a mopey Half-Man, Half-Biscuit. Very glad to have been proven wrong.
