So uh, what music makes you (attempt to) dance?
I'm not a big dancer, or tiny dancer for that matter, but when something slick and, well, dancey comes on I can't help myself. Been listening to John Talabot's ƒin a lot lately, which is fucking brilliant and also makes me want to dance like Sam Rockwell.
What music makes you want to dance like Sam Rockwell? Maybe it is a different Rockwell altogether?

I'm actually trying to compile the tracks that makes me dance
this 2012
- top of the list is the Trust album, same effect as the Cut Copy one the year before.
After that ... I need to think!
You should post that playlist
When it's done of course
I'm not really sure
I think either dancey/techno/electro or northern soul type stuff.
Hooky bassline, thudding beat and washy synths. Pretty much Chromatics really.
pretty much anything at this point
but this is a recent one we can surely all enjoy

that remix is bliss
bustitopen good even
Beach House can make me do a wavy groove thing,
now enjoy this video of some of the gals from warpaint dancing to Lover of Mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cngrU8B65oU
good basslines and hand clapping

MJ - P.Y.T is my number one.
Also:
Stevie Wonder - Do I Do
Earth, Wind & Fire - Let's Groove
Parliament - Flash Light
Prince - I Would Die 4 U
Daft Punk - One More Time
I always thought I couldn't stand Stevie Wonder's music
Then I realized he did 'do I do' which is a great dancing song. 1 point to Stevie wonder, still at negative 3K for 'I just called'
I can't listen to I Would Die 4 U
Without looking earnestly into the nearest person's eyes, singing along and doing the sign language dance.
I danced to Dan Deacon earlier it was fun
and ABBA
I danced at a Mogwai show and stuarty b tried to kill me with his eyes
Dan Deacon
must have a few on that new album - I'll experiment this weekend.

Plenty makes me dance
It would be silly to try and list them all
Daft Punk
They make me want to dance and hug people.
Well my friends.
The time has come, to raise the roof and have some fun.
All night long.
Genius.
