        between Brown and Bill Murray / Oliveri / whoever else people like to smugly bring up to how indie they're not, is that generally those people don't cloud the issue to impressionable teenagers. the quickest google would reveal evidence of chris brown fans accepting what he did was ok - I don't think you'd find the same with fans of qotsa or whatever, ignorance perhaps.
        
        they're just as responsible for their actions, and equally reprehensible - and perhaps you should question buying gig tickets, etc, of course - but anytime someone thinks they're being clever by naming someone like Mark E Smith or whatever is being deliberately obtuse

Alright, he's a nob by all accounts, but no more so than most rappers or other individuals in bands who have done similar things in the past.
