        1. Soundgarden
        2. Screaming Trees
        3. Alice In Chains
        
        Dust and Sweet Oblivion by ST were far stronger throughout for me. Not a duff track throughout (although I can't stand Uncle Anasthesia), but at their best AIC had the best songs of the 2. Them Bones, Dirt, Down In A Hole, Nutshell, I Stay Away, Brother, Got Me Wrong were all seriously great songs. Soundgarden just had a ton of great songs.

        I agree that Dust and Sweet Oblivion are both fantastic records.
        
        But I don't think either is quite as good as Dirt.

that's been my top listened to album so far, followed by dirt and then unplugged and then the self titled. haven't heard any of the others yet
