However I'm not sure that "are you mental it so clearly isn't, love from every other human, animal and plant in the world including all past and present members of James" really counts as a discussion.
Or at least i think i prefer Sometimes, She's A Star, Laid, What's The World, amongst others.
Obviously it's a great song, but i think sometimes you can get quickly bored of anthems.
both the song and the band don't even rate criticism. Yet here I am weighing in. I mean, really.
& it certainly does not lead to opinions like the one in the op which is far from james' best song
(as well as others mentioned upthread i'd add "what for")
'Wichita Lineman' is the greatest song ever written
And I want you for all time.
Not a bad line, is it?
for those of you unfamiliar with Wichita Lineman, ^this isn't my attempt at chatting up Sean
sitting down to this song on mucky youth club disco dance floors at the end of the 80’s and early 90's.
by sitting down? Just wondering.
Those T-shirts were basically long shapeless dresses, right?
that 'Just Like Heaven' by The Cure is the best song ever.
Ciderland has a point with the OP though. If a band did a song like Sit Down now though, it would be roundly dismissed as landfill indie. Which is not what it was or would be.
as just like heaven by dinosau jr
surely a runner for the title.
before coming to this somewhat surprising opinion
