We play our first London show in Camden on Friday 12th October at The Black Heart :)
How did the London show go last night? Like ·
The Kayas Didnt happen mate. All gigs are cancelled at the monent im afraid
Bad news
They appear to have split up again
Yet booked some more gigs. Yet Ad has gone solo, with the new single in his name, yet the gigs seem to be booked in the band name.
I love them.
On this, I had a really pleasant exchange with Ad on Twitter, and I will now not hear a word against him as a guy.
divorce is always so messy
who got custody of the union jack guitar and the parka?
how did the exchange happen exactly?
I had made reference to them a few times
then they were obviously searching for themselves and found it. I had been talking to some guys in a band we were soon to be playing with and he caught on and made some sort of "see you at the show" type comments as if he was going to come down and stab us or something. Was funny. Then some time passed, I mentioned them again I think and he suddenly followed me, so I sent a polite, and genuine, PM saying I wished him no ill, and hoped the move went well and that it was just gentle fun. He replied saying he found it funny, made reference to DiS in a "I don't care" kind if a way, and encouraged me to take the piss more. I liked him for his thick skin when he could have reacted way worse.
nooooooooooooooo
oooooo
Tour dates here;
FEBRUARY 2013
1st Retro Bar -Manchester
2nd Knights Templer - London
5th The Fleece - Bristol
8th The Krazyhouse - Liverpool
9th Rechabite Hall - Telford
Knights Templer?!
Isn't that a Wetherspoons?
Yeah on Chancery Lane
conveniently near my work.
Not so much a tour as visiting some shit pubs
I do that on a weekly basis. But without thinking I'm Liam Gallagher.
I keep looking at the Fleece website to see the deal there
Expecting it to actually be open mic night or something. To be fair to gigs in a Wetherspoon - good cheap beer, and all the sachets of ketchup you can steal.
Hang on
Do they actually do gigs in Wetherspoons?
do any other DiSers want to go to the knights templer show?
i really, really do lol
lets do it
