It's *weird*
Pearl Jam
for when he nearly falls off his stool
DOES fall off his stool
but then stands on it and writes PRO LIFE on his arm maaaaan.
Pretty cool recovery.
Aha! my memory is hazy
having last seen it probably 20 years ago
Same here until I watched it on youtube about 3 months ago
It's well teen angst but also ace in your face.
His voice during that set is fucking astonishing*
(*y'know...if you dig Ed Vedder's voice - I realise a lot of people don't)
Actually he writes
PRO CHOICE
Eric Clapton
Skillz.
Alice In Chains
Layne is off his tits but Rooster is a cracker!
He also had no teeth, so his mouth got blacked out in post
One of his last performances I think, a very sad listen with this in mind. Cracking version of 'Rooster'.
Dashboard Confessional
SLEEP WITH ALL THE LIGHTS ON!
YOU'RE NOT SO HAPPY!
YOU'RE NOT SECURE!
That first song is epic.
AND YOU CAN'T FAKE IT HARD ENOUGH TO PLEEEEEEASE
The Cure
The version of Just Like Heaven is especially good.
But the album of that is fucking shit
Production sounds like it came out of my anus.
Didn't realise there even was an album of it
I've only really seen it on replays on mtv or via grainy youtube footage.
the early version of Letter to Elise is pretty special too
Shakey !
I've got a recollection of Bjork doing one, and it being really brilliant
But I can find no evidence of it ever existing and may have imagined it.
It did happen! It is brilliant!
Here is a video:

Bjork - What the fuck is that about?
You can buy it on DVD I think
and it was very, very good.
Stone Temple Pilots
It's a belter of a set.
Both R.E.M. ones
Oasis
If for nothing else then just for this:

Black Crowes and Alice In Chains were both very impressive.
Bob Dylan
May depend on whether or not you enjoy modern-day-croaky-Dylan. I do, so I think it's ace.
Nirvana's was great
The obvious choice but it really was. Everyone else did a greatest hits, they got the frickin Meat Puppets on stage and did Bowie and Leadbelly covers. Made it a record in its own right.
I also liked Alice In Chains. When Layne takes his sunglasses off you can see how battered he is, white as a sheet and eyes that look straight through you. Still absolutely belts out songs like "Would" though. Nutshell is a brilliant opener.
Neil Young
Brilliant from start to finish.
The Orb and Utah Saints
Bjork
<3
Nirvana is the one, but I always liked
10,000 Maniacs as well. Not heard it for ages so not sure if it stands the test of time. What's The Matter Here is still a great song though
Incubus
