Mixtape Exchange Club (instructions)
So then, how this will work is I will start thread (or start a new one) once a month with the list of who is giving who is sending who a mix CD for that month, and the theme for that month. Just a standard audio CD- length of your choice.
I will then send each person a note with the recipient's address on.
If you want to join, then please send me a note with your delivery address on. People can join at any point. Don't beat yourself up if you don't manage to send one, but if you are too busy it'd be cool if you could let me know so then I can either send an extra one that I've made to your recipient or match them up with someone else.
Standard mixtape etiquette applies so let the person know what you enjoyed on the mix, and extra kudos for clever titles or design (not that these are essential).
So send me a note if you're in (you don't need to do this every month- I'll assume you're sending a CD every month).
I'll post November's instructions second half of next week, so send me a note before then if you're interested...
Feel free to suggest a theme, or a decent name for our mixtape exchange club.

I have to agree with that as not everyone uses Spotify, and the world is drowning with mixcloud links and playlists.
I also like the retro vibe. It's the most inclusive way of doing it I reckon.
International people are welcome. In fact I think that would be interesting...

not all of us use spotify or whatever

Yep, gotta be a cd; it's more personal. I wouldn't mind it being a themed thing some of the time, and perhaps onthemed other times. Anyway, this sounds like great fun. Loking forward to it, folks.

I think I'll pass but kudos for sticking with your original idea. Ultimately, I'm just too lazy I think and I wouldn't want to disappoint any people waiting for a CD from me.
