Not really seen them mentioned on here much but it's got tons of reverb on, so I'm interested.
I saw her at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen maybe a year or so ago. One of the few gigs there that wasn't full of tossers in the crowd.
Don't THINK I'm a tosser, but you never know...
guitars sound pretty lush. bit of a Wild Nothing/DIIV mix
Been waiting for this...
...will check it out.
9 tracks and clocking in at around 41 minutes. I really appreciate a band that knows how to show restraint.
First track is luscious, though we already knew that. Looking forward to hearing the rest of them.
Little undecided about the rest. Will give it another go.
I'd give it 8/10 on the first listen. A shame the album comes out on the same day as their London gig. I'd like the songs to grow on me for a week or so before the gig. Cen't have it all. Great album.
before buying and mainly listening on my mp3 player. I tend not to listen to entire albums from my laptop.
...but doesn't feel as strong on first listen as the Waves. Still got that lovely reverb sound though. Could imagine it growing on me. Quite a usual shoegaze pattern there. Love that the average track length is around 4 minutes throughout (proper 90s approach to an album that is).
