Semi-jag as I am friends with the band, but don't let this water down my recommendation. This lot have been at it for ten years, which just goes to show how much time you can miffle away in the pub if you put your mind to it.
Their thing is indie-dance-rock, but sadly not as Shed Sevenish as that sounds. Booming vocals, killer live show, and surprisingly weepy lyrics about girls, from people who should know better.
What I have done there is describe a really shit band, but they aren't, and this is why I'm not a music journalist. Just a guy, who likes a band whose album is out today.
Here is their best single from the record but they are all equally chest swelling, and eye damping;
Every fibre in my body wants to write that they are going to give the music scene a good kick up the cubes, but they aren't. It simply doesn't work like that.
Hope you like it.
