Dunno why just felt like doing it
or Get Back.
Did he write that? Did he also write The Night Before? That's ace. He *was* wicked, but Lennon was better, that's all.
I've Just Seen A Face
Here There and Everywhere
I Saw Her Standing There
Things We Said Today
Fool On The Hill
Got To Get You Into My Life
That Would Be Something
Band On The Run
both great. ridiculous question of course. but if i had to choose, i choose Paul.
yeah but do you really want me to list Lennon's? I certainly don't
because when they're good they're both amazing and when they're bad they can both be utterly terrible. But McCartney in the end as if we are honest he's much much better at making great tunes.
but McCartney has written some brilliant songs, shame his dross is worse.
can we have a Ringo Starr appreciation
I listened to Sometime in New York City, and it's as bad if not worse than anything Paul's ever done
to Harrison or his fans, but he's responsible for some right stinkers.
Within You Without You and Blue Jay Way in particular - if they'd been omitted from their respective albums, the albums would have been improved.
On the other hand, there's Here comes the sun, which is great obv. And Got My Mind Set On You.
He wrote 'Something', which is possibly the best Beatles song of all*
* - also possibly not
but you are seventeen kinds of wrong.
within you without you is toss
I...I have to go lie in the fetal position.
it's like when my nephew said he knew Father Christmas wasn't real.
Basically the main reason people got the Sgt. Pepper's CD was to be able to skip that track. But if you rate it so highly I'd guess you're just not much of a fan of normal Beatles stuff anyway.
but it's still ace. They should have done a lot more less good versions of Love You To in place of the McCartney novelty shite.
was a cover.
Don't Pass Me By? Octopus' Garden?
I rest my case
