The GOOD Music compilation is unremarkable...
Little to recommend it unless you've bought into leaks so far. Monotone nu-trap, brought to you in association with Hudson Mohawke (who can be heard all over this, but never makes much of an impression). Neither of those guys expolre the mutual love of maximalism that could've made it a great collabo.
Oddly enough, a load of the featured artists aren't on the label (R Kelly, The Dream, 2 Chainz, Raekwon, Chief Keef, Ghostface...) and some that you'd most like to hear (Mos Def, Q-Tip) don't show up.
I only listened once, admittedly, but it sounded like the most catagorically 'okay' album I've heard all year. Nothing tanks, nothing soars. Honestly, there's probably nothing else as bad as Cold, and nothing that comes close to Niggas in Paris.
Pretty sure he lost interest in this project a long time ago, and this should've been chucked out as a freebie.
just getting to the end
yer pretty disappointing. starts off really well and then tanks downhill. the collabs I was most looking forward to (Odd Future, Frank Ocean, Mos Def) appear to have never came off.
had hoped for more from the HudMo productions.
and is DJ Khaled the worst rapper of all time...?

Have listened a few times now
First half seems decent, quite a few good beats. Then it falls away in the second half and yes not some of the collaborations you would hope to see.
Hopefully the next full Kanye album is better.
not really sure what people were expecting from a collaborative album?
some excellent beats, hit-boy and hudmo done well. definitely sounds put together although maybe a bit too samey?
ghostface on new god flow for best verse. honestly sounds like it was made for him (i suppose taking the sample into account it probably was)

Bliss could have been great
but the vocals just don't sit right. A shame, because as a concept it had great potential and it sounds like Kanye got bored and gave up on it. P4K write a para about HudMo but fail to even recognise Bliss as his track.
