I love both so much.
baggy jeans, bright-colored flowing satin, flannel sweaters on or around the waist to keep it kinda grunge, one pant leg up, midriffs, kangol, etc
it's miles away from the videos/styles I'd normally think of as classic 90s (Archers of Loaf, Pavement etc) but goddamn do I have love for everything about that decade
This was a major part of the 90s style that I grew up around, not the satin though.
but i do so crave your approval Shipment ;)
Also, given the ridiculously oversized clothes, that video was far hotter than it should have been ...
wins this duel for me - the combo of the male & female voices is just really smooth over a nice frequency range
plus I LOVE me the sound of an Oberheim DMX, the crunchy tambourine accenting really makes it
that's silly, maaaaaan
It's one of the greatest songs of all time. No contest. Unless you were to do 'Creep' vs 'Wichita Lineman' then - and probably only then - I'd be kinda stuck.
Had no idea who he was, told my parents about it after and they flipped out.
but, Creep for me. Carry on with the good work.
i have decided i do not like either song
its gonna have to be LL Cool J then for the female vocals and summer vibe
Trackmasters made a career on summer vibes.
I have a ton of adolescent memories tied to both, I had a major crush on Chilli.
Love those perfectly timed trumpet stabs.
LL s'alright but Creep is boss.
I also love the Afghan Whigs cover.
Really suits Dulli's style actually
