and of those who haven't turned up here yet, silverfoxqpr, moshymoshy and Damian are worthy of laudation
I mean, I don't even like AC! But you knew that, you devious imp
Or at least did. Like last.fm
Or did I imagine that?
Considering my music tastes constantly get slagged off on these boards.
according to some thingy on http://lastfm.dontdrinkandroot.net
Could perhaps also have been CillaCrack, but it turns out he likes Maria & The Mirrors. No excuse for that.
He's the guy that likes really mellow Americana type stuff, right?
Which I find all the more surprising given that he is a foreign...
came in to say pentargo and automatik
although he likes some RIGHT cock.
the absolute cock far outweighs the stuff you like I think.
But I have lots of pockets of compatibility with loads of other DiSers.
I liked Carruthers' p4k list best.
although tbh, I think I have common ground with lots of different DiSers, but no single one of 'em covers the whole range.
I can't remember who else
Awesome taste in electronic music.
Also Antelope and few others.
but i like proper tunes better
See this topic: http://drownedinsound.com/community/boards/music/4397976
There are many electronic music artists with proper tunes (as you said): Depeche Mode, New Order, Kraftwerk, The Human League, Ladytron, The Knife, LCD Soundsystem, Leftfield, Underworld, M83, Goldfrapp, The KLF, Gary Numan etc.
They have tunes you could sing along. Instead guitars they play synths (and sometimes they play guitars AND synths).
You're wasting your time.

Few lines later:
>> "aye me too but lyla wasnt the finest hour lol"
[ Sorry for almost double posts: the first one didn't appear after I clicked Post reply. I thought DiS forum ate it. ;) ]
arguably at their career after the release of the seminal single lyla. you can't tell me any of that other stuff tops that
They played almost everything live on many old analogue synths. Amazing laser show and projections included. It was indoor so JMJ couldn't use fireworks like he usually do.
Also I've seen live bands like Massive Attack, Faithless, Kraftwerk, Orbital and Underworld. Oasis don't have better shows than the artists mentioned before.
I watched some live recordings with Oasis. They're quite boring and static live. Liam stays almost all time in front of his mic. Kasabian have more energy on stage.
Kraftwerk are also static on stage but at least they have some great projections on a screen behind them that works perfectly in sync with music. And the sound quality is crystal clear.
yeah the best thing iv ever seen live was daft punk Alive 2007
(actually I quite like Oasis)
Their first 2 albums are excellent.
I have the utmost respect for you for turning me on to BATS and the Cast of Cheers and Baron Zen and some other things
we share a lot of common artists* that aren't the result of influencing each other. Whenever i'm seeking inspiration i usually just pick something from your charts and give it a whirl :D
cocodaLOL and LLB when we're talking about skate punk
Whoever tttrex is on Lastfm
Scoping through 'em, the 'super' league is...

Add me http://is.gd/wza_lastfm
In 2004 I thought that was a good username.
In 2004 I was an idiot.
That's a bit pathetic.
Anyway, our compatability id very high, so i'll say TheWza.
I'm sure there's someone. Someone who likes they might be giants.
walkingwithwolves probably, but she doesn't post anymore.
vamos seems to have a similar love for all things Hot Chip.
so who's dancing to my party?
For all Cardiacs related malarky.
fuck_this_band knows what's up. also Joe, in the crusty noise rock stakes.
and hp in jazz avant concrete techno pretentious beard scratchy music.
and jimi and eh.
and Traynor, actually.
and no one probably cares
+ MrScagdensir and Cronin on occasion.
A few, I guess.
and rovlusnic (or however you spell it).
like ROBERT LOVES NICOLA
ONCE YOU SEE IT YOU CAN'T UNSEE IT DID YOU ALSO KNOW DUCKS ARE ALL WEARING DOG MASKS
and just how do you know that we like to dress up in animal costumes?
Yesiamaduck and TheWZA are SUPER compatable with me.
Any more for any more?
Music you have in common includes Purity Ring, Hot Chip, Cocteau Twins, Future of the Left and Emeli Sandé.
and both listened to a lot of Bowie recently. I'm HappyRappy on Lastfm, feel free to be my first social network 'friend' - yeah I'm gifting that priviledge to you mofo.
if so, him
a bit of robluvsnic, a bit of lemonbrickcombo, a bit of jordan (whatever his numbers after that), a bit of Cementimental
... a bit bitsy!
Tbh, quite a bit of Sean!
I actually found out about DIS because he suddenly appeared as a 'neighbour' on my last fm two or three years ago.
wow, I've never heard of anyone discovering DiS like that. That's kinda cool.
Sunn O)))...swans...maybe not le ray...
I assume he's just my doppelganger or something.
I dig everything shipment digs too
One Minute Silence 10/10
Puddle Of Mudd 10/10
Can't remember their names - but yeah, well them. I'll know 'em when I see 'em.
their contribution of beats, noisy stuff and rhymes respectively just about does the job I think. Although I'm realtively new to these parts..
