I was a bit pissed off that there isn't really anything more to the song than what was shown in the trailer. Yeah the dubstep bit kinda bad, but would be quite redeemable if it had gone into like a soaring chorus or something. But this doesn't go anywhere at all. Fucks sake Muse, the last one was pretty bad, but in the two preview songs we have probably the worst things the band have ever put their name to.

or i dunno, not trolling. But like, they don't actually give a shit about music anymore, so are just doing things they think are funny. I guess on paper mixing string sections with `dubstep` is pretty funny.

I wish they'd just split up though they make me sad.

Nothing perennial, though. They've never seemed serious to me.

I liked almost all of OoS, and some of Showbiz, but Absolution and everything after = a slog. Yes, virtuosic. Yes, rocking. However, I think that from Absolution to The Resistance there might be one good album's worth of material, and to listen to that material would require you to turn your brain off.

It's too bland to get worked up about.

The news reporter reading the laws of thermodynamics is a bit strange, like a tennis player reading the Miranda Rights. And then the wub and music is just... parody.

Christ, one day there will be a true post mortem into why Muse started to try so hard when before it seemed so effortless.

The laws of thermodynamics bit broke me. So when the song arrived the impact was diminished. Still managed to get some classic Matt Bellamy moaning AWOOOAHHH WOOOAHHHYAAAHHOOOOOOH over the top like a demented John Fashanu with his balls in a vice.
