Doesn't seem to be very lively on these boards for this festival.
Can't wait either. never been before so just going to enjoy wandering and drinking ale and watching Mogwai, The Walkmen and Tune-yards as well as tonnes of other stuff.
Saw her at Royal Albert Hall earlier this year. She proper rocks it out now and will be an excellent headliner, I promise you.
Probably see a few bands on the Far Out stage (Teeth of the Sea and 3 Trapped Tigers mainly) then hot foot it over for Tune-Yards and Walkmen. Not too fussed who I see after that tbh. We'll see.
Though there are fewer must see's for me this year, I think it's overall a very strong line up. Most looking forward to Tune-Yards, Errors, Mogwai, Megafaun, Teeth of the Sea, Field Music, Metronomy, Bullion, Scritti Politti and Islet. But then there is Remember Remember, Alt-J, Ghostpoet, Feist, of Montreal, Slow Club, Steve Malkmus, three Trapped Tigers, Kwes, Friends, Daughter, Dexys...
Always a good time but great weather the last two years have made it perfect.
Looking forward to James Blake dj set, Vondelpark and Megafaun. Should be a lovely weekend.
As I've never been to Green Man, are there cashpoints or is it better to bring my own?
but if you can get a cashpoint in your rucksack it would save you the hideous queueing that occurs on sunday at the onsite ones.
Am really looking forward to Green Man - every time I look at the line-up I spot something else I need to add to my 'must see' list.
I'm also VERY excited about drinking their amazing cider!
Light showers Thursday
Heavy rain showers Friday
Light rain Saturday
Sunny intervals (no rain) Sunday
and I got trenchfoot in 2008.. Oh man was that year muddy.
