... no more. as they have split up. :-(
makes my day. I'm all like, LOL IN YOUR FACES, NO NEW MUSIC FOR YOU!!!!
It looks as though the name Pendulum will still continue to operate, with members Paul "El Hornet" Harding and Ben "The Verse" Mount continuing to book DJ sets under the band's name.
you can't tell me that you haven't found your toe tapping along to Tarantula or any other of their tunes that sound like a variation on Tarantula before shirley?
what you gonna do?
Writing on his Twitter page, Rob Swire was clearly stunned by the reaction of fans to news of Pendulum's split. "Lol...wow, everyone loves things more when they're gone, I guess. The Kurt Cobain effect."
I'm more than happy to push for a more double barrelled way to this metaphor to make sure they don't reform.
It's also amusing that if you say it an Aussie accent his name is "Swooiiyaaa".
In related amusement I was quite interested to see (in Kerrang) Chase & Status went down a storm at Download recently, when the Prodigy headlined albeit. Very brave to put them on I thought.
"Lol...wow, everyone loves things more when they're gone, I guess. The Kurt Cobain effect."
had a bigger crowd than Prodigy at Download.
Not me though, too busy loling at them in all of their faces. Loling and sometimes even rofling
be them back to headline in 2015 then.
the way I remember it the only cds they had were actual shop copies of the one Pendulum album that was out at the time (it was at Roskilde and there was a big screen filming them so you could see what they were doing).
Salut Pendulum, you were okay to dance to while eating a chorizo sandwich in 2006.
it was around 2008 where it all went bad
and to be fair, i did love 'out here'
mainly because it was at a respectable tempo.
and thought it was decent, even though they only had 3 songs done at that point so it was only 15 minutes long - I was a big fan of Paul Kodish and really excited to see how they'd develop with him in the band. Then next time I saw them was in 2008 promoting that fucking awful second album and had to walk out about half way though in utter disgust.
when I was a student, and before that swire guy started singing and decided to turn them into a "proppa band".
because it saves potential embarrassment.
I thought they did nu metal dnb, didn't think they where cool enough to try dubstep. Not heard them for years tho so who knows.
and did so before their time, so to speak.
Well, if Korn are now supposed to have been dubstep pioneers, I guess anything goes.
was the equivalent of pushing every button on your first beyboard while shouting the worst possible slogans ever while hoping Ferne Cotton thought you were cool. Pendulum? Dead? Where? So I can piss on them? Preprogrammed effluent. Let me press the Protools flush
