New Pet Shop Boys this year
Titled Elysium, release date sometime in September, first preview track Invisible streamable at http://www.petshopboys.co.uk/ (probably not the official lead single).
Invisible sounds gorgeous, wonderfully moody. Reminds me of some of Behaviour's subtler moments brought to modern day. Yes was a bit of a disappointment on all accounts, this is sounding instantly better.

For me behaviour is their best album.
Hopefully a tour as well cos their last tour was fucking immense!!
Yes
was the first PSBs album I've liked since Behaviour to be honest, so good it sounds like a singles compilation, and The Way it Used to Be in particular is an absolute classic.

I enjoy it but it's not really held up strongly for me
Probably largely because it sounds more like a Xenomania album than a PSB album, and as much as Xenomania have their merits I'd prefer to have more PSB in my PSB. There's a few straight-up throwaway songs as well and a rather poor lyrical performance from Tennant. Like said, I enjoy it and to its credit it's got a handful of brilliant tracks in it, but overall it just doesn't work for me as well as most of PSB's discography.
I gave up at Bilingual
but Please, Actually, Disco, Introspective, Behaviour are all such utter classics. Didn't get on with Very much (very much), and then Bilingual clinched the deal for me and wrote them off as has-beens.
