Big up MastaJam.
Big up The Kort
Sonic Router’s Oli Marlow shifts gears with his label’s second release, ‘We Jostle’ EP, from newcomer Wattville. stripped, rolling, and percussive, all three tracks aim for the dancefloor with precise movements and tight grooves. big difference from SRR001, the Torus cassette, that served headier needs with its contemplative beatscapes. makes sense this release also welcomes Sonic Router’s first foray with vinyl - the EP makes for visceral weapons in a discerning DJ’s arsenal. ‘We Jostle’ recalls Pangaea’s Hemlock release, but ‘Clan’ is the personal stand out - cowbells can do no wrong! Stay tuned for an extra special instrumental overdub of ‘Clan’ from Kort fav’s Archie Pelago as well….big!

He played Glade Festival with us this weekend and smashed it so this is well worth going to even before you factor in Braiden and WNCL.
Bleep
'
Sonic Router are regular Bleep podcast contributors and one of the world’s most respected editorial blogs in the world of “bass” and “beats” (i.e. – the genre that still doesn’t have a proper name)… Well they are now a label as well, and with their second release begin to delve into the dusty world of vinyl. Birmingham’s 19 year-old Wattville, aka Matthew Evans, brings 3 slabs of chunky, percussive and bass-heavy dancefloor hitters. Primitive and tribal rhythms merge with UKF sensibilities. Highly recommended for fans of Ill Blu, Roska, and Lil Silva. A hotly tipped producer on a hotly tipped label.'
