should i presume you mean hex?
if so, yes. if another, yes
Codename:dustsucker becomes part of your soul
and then the drums roll and a huge burst of white noise washes over. Beautiful sounds.
The guitar solo on Shapeshifting is a crushing piece of noise. Seek it out.
fabulous stuff. I had never heard of em either. Good piece on it here
Hex is amazing. Codename:Dustsucker is almost as amazing. So so many brilliant moments across those two albums.
I used to have them on vinyl way back yonder. Saw them play at the Marquee on Charing Cross Rd around that time, pretty sure it was a free gig too. I can remember it being pretty amazing......afterwards I went home and wrote some very stoned 'poetry'.
Off to Spotify them......
Was them improvising for 22 minutes in a church. Also had a couple of cracking early tracks pre the albums. For me they didn't really hit their stride until Hex.
tell you about them 10 years ago!
i still have some of your old cdrs floating about from the early DiS nights.
Before britpop happened.

cos of this thread. I haven't listened to this sort of thing in ages, lost interest in the whole post-rock, slow progressive stuff a while ago but this has some lovely sounds on it.
