Don't use Seetickets if you can avoid it.
up with their fees. Seetickets never fail to amazing me/piss me off.
that makes their cut about 25%. probably less of a cut than Tesco got from your last loaf of bread.
The fact that other online box offices provide better services at lower cost, suggests they are exploiting their market position to over charge consumers.
Tesco, can be accused of the opposite - driving down prices, so to force competitors, especially independent retailers, out of the market. More so, comparing those industries is completely and utterly redundant.
and where the people you book from take their cut, rather than attempting to directly compare the two industries.
(But would anybody want See to act the way Tesco do and use their power to drive down what cut bands/promoters take? Probably not.)
from their shop but £6.75 for it to be posted. What's going on? Naughty Stargreen.
That's not great... 6.75? Eesh.
Never have two windows open at once, kids.
ahhahah this has made me laugh too much
Ticketline and CrowdSurge are also reasonable. See, Ticketmaster, Gigsntic and Stargreen are all special delivery postage at £5/6 - yes, I've shopped around for this one.
Is it small enough to justify paying a premium to see them at a "small" venue like?
Rectangular room, a bit like Heaven.
Might skip this then. Or might not. they are sooooo good aren't they.
Anyone been ?
I can't imagine 1,000 people in there but I suppose you could at a push. 700 sounds comfortable.
1,000 capacity is probably for a club night
change the layout. In other words, I've been there when the main stage has been on the opposite ends of the room at different gig. There is a raised section at the back on a typical gig night, which means more people have a better view.
Thought it worked really well. It was sold out, but it was easy to move around, shift views, and get from the front to the back through the crowd in the time it took people to stop clapping.
The reason I'm not going
Its £9 booking fee for BLOC (still a lot but its a £100 ticket)
but to be honest they're one of the best live bands out there. Couldn't not, really. Think this'll be my 6th time seeing them.
