Omar just hangin' out in the corner not giving a shit :D
I don't think I'll be that bothered if I don't get to see them
could have something to do with it.
Or its a shameless cash in hes agreed to, in order to help his old friends/bandmates who are strapped for cash.
Because either way that's not the Omar we know. :s
this played a massive factor back in the day, they were effectively tripping balls in that band all the time until they pal died around the time De-loused came out. Amazing to think that the Mars Volta is those two NOT on drugs really...
the stage looks tiny.. not much chance for action.
but still, he is just stood there, going through the motions
But perhaps a special award should be given to the person who filmed the video for One Armed Scissor on that page. Don't get me wrong, I've seen a lot of awful live recordings which is understandable given that phones/camcorders struggle to deal with that volume but, well, wow, that really is shit to a whole new level.
it doesn't matter though
the fact that cedric looks like a stand in for the band is what makes me chuckle, he really doesn't care about this band does he?
if I was in that room I'd be going fucking nuts regardless because, you know, why worry about it when you're there? The band sound solid enough and the crowd are clearly into it. But as a passive observer who is not in that moment the band look pretty awkward really, particularly for a band renowned and widely remembered for their "explosive" performances
but then I never saw them the first time round. Did they all used to have 7 tits and unicorn horns or summat?
but here's the obligatory Jools Holland youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08qk_pMJFak
nobody remembers the other TV they did on that visit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWbBw8ncDb0
but only because it was posted on here a couple months ago
i was always under the impression it was Chris Evans who did the band/song switcharoo mistake, not... who was that woman?
This was from the last series of TFI where Evans, rather nobly, fucked off and didn't do anything towards his own series.
it exists in people's VHS collections, some other songs from the same show have turned up, but STILL NOBODY HAS UPLOADED SEBADOH ON TOP OF THE POPS TO YOUTUBE. Swines.
but my stupid cunting housemate taped over it along with Alex Tudor bowling the Aussies out in the 1998/99 Ashes. I was not happy.
but I didn't think the voice sounded like how I remember her from MTV Select.
picks up a tambourine. Definitely the same.
so you can hardly blame the guy for not looking into it
that's fine, but I didn't know that
