No one ever talks about When Saints Go Machine
Bit odd
I remember Sean querying why no one was talking about them even last year
They're really good! Off beat Danish electro pop with Arthur Russellesque vocals
Gonna see them in London tonight, Hoxton Bar and Kitchen, at 8

Fuck. If I'd seen this thread an hour ago,
I might have tried to join you (assuming it isn't sold out).
Oh well, listening to Fail Forever loudly on repeat will have to suffice. Do let us know how the show goes.
It was sold out
as I was half-contemplating going, but that little fact made me decide!
Quite enjoyed their album last year, and good fun at Latitude too.
I was talking about them ages ago, but no-one was listening.
Yeah
The album's very good as well
i've talked about them a fair bit
i rate konkylie very highly - only found out about a month ago that it's their second album, their first isn't quite as good or diverse but is still pretty damn fine and has a some great tracks on it
brilliant gig last night weren't it?
not as good as CAMP due to the sound system and lights.
bring on The Great Escape!
I liked how every member of the band looked like the guy you'd see
on a Sunday lunchtime in the early nineties, walking home after an all-night rave.
I keep meaning to listen to them
but their name is SO terrible
I always forget about how amazing they are
simply because no one ever really mentions them. Konkylie deserves so much more recognition, its only got 9 reviews on Metacritic
Think Fail Forever edges it on quality - one of my favourite EPs. They deserve to be equally well known as Alt-J, for example
You're not wrong
They're good as well
Kelly should have been a smash hit single
sometimes I don't understand the world
I don't understand our civilization. Such an incredible band
I've been on about them for ages.
you already said that up there!
shout louder
Electricity wasn't invented...
Oh yeah - I didn't realise that this was a re-bump!
They get talked about enough really
I mean, Konkylie was a favourite of mine last year but their debut wasn't all that. They'll have to continue maintaining last year's standards if they're to gain popularity...
However, I would like a "best song on Konkylie" discussion however. I think the title track has the best atmosphere, but I really like On the Move.
Definitely Kelly for me
followed by Add Ends, Whoever made you stand so still and Church and Law.
Think it's a really consistent album, and I'm pretty fussy about these kind of things.
