about the relationship between artists and their labels.
For some weird reason, Jon McClure (the Reverend himself) was on the panel, but seemed to have absolutely no idea what the lecture was about, ended up going off on massive aimless tangents full of 6th form-esque political "statements", and ended up announcing to the room that he was banned from the NME because they were corrupt and racist and that in an NME interview he had once actually accused the magazine of being racist, "and the NEXT WEEK they put Dizzee Rascal on the cover, and it was ALL because I said they were racist! And then they banned me from ever appearing in the NME again!!"

Falco's utter contempt for them is amazing.
they managed to make The Enemy look like a cross between Captain Beefheart and the Pixies."
The gig he's talking about was the first time FOTL played Belfast, I was so fucking annoyed when I realised who they were supporting and how I therefore couldn't possibly go.
the way he delivers that last bit is glorious; absolutely dripping with venom.
and Trick Daddy did it much better
