Grimes at Madame Jojo's. Anyone go?
On paper, it wouldn't have been my cup of tea (I'm a 90s indie kid at heart) but I thought it was brilliant set. Looking forward to the album. Now I have to spend money on The XOYO gig. Damn. I didn't realize she was so young either. Did anyone else go? What did you think?

It was quite good
I find her a bit borderline endearing/irritating, though.
Went hoping to be converted
Left feeling more confused if I like her or not. Had no idea that's how she makes her music (hadn't really given it any thought) so it seemed more like a director's commentary than a 'show' for me. Thought the encore was good.
