I found myself not bothered one bit by this and was wondering if I had to surrender my indie-cred card while my righteous indignation chip was being recalibrated.

Also, can ANYONE imagine Alex James getting on with Damon or Dave from Blur?? Wouldn't his opinions/friends/escapades be the elephant in the room when Blur meet up?

I also don't ever follow this forum's constant indignation at dick-headed behaviour from pop stars. That's what makes good ones. This article is odd, for sure, but the reaction is just plain bizarre.
