Oh no bye bye money
you can do that on here, right?
Would I actually enjoy these games? I guess that's hard to answer. Tell me why you liked them. Or didn't like them ...
New question : Portal / Portal 2 - good soundtrack / FX?
It's actually physically impossible to dislike them.
I got it free when they started Steam on Mac but have since bought every Valve game on the platform to say thanks.
It's got the perfect balance of a story that hints at it's depth, rather than tries to show you it, leaving you to almost fill in the gaps yourself. It also loosely ties in with the Half-Life games.
Plus it has the perfect narrator and tone of voice, being dark, funny and also incredibly scary.
It's also like nothing else. It takes a tired concept such as FPSs and dicks around with the physics, making it the most ingenious and enjoyable 3D puzzle game ever created.
It's also perfectly paced, leaves you wanting more, lets you work out solutions rather than spoonfeed you them, can be completed in 2 hours or may well take you a day if you don't cheat.
I absolutely loved it.
People say 2 is even better. Sadly my Mac won't run it.
Just watch it all on Youtube or something.
Or rob somebody.
I'll upgrade someday. SOME DAY! Or get an xbox or something. I really want someone to make that mario portal game that someone posted a video of on here ages ago.
I don't really like any computer games but by the sounds of it these might actually tickle my pickle. Cheers for the recommendations!
If you do though, I doubt anyone on these boards will have any sympathy for you.
in animal crossing the other day. Feeling pretty proud of myself.
