when it first started.
Alphabet and Don't Move - they are both amazing.
and the track labeled alphabet repeats the word sick over and over... so it might be the same single.
sick is a different track from the alphabet one, i thought they were going to be the same initially as well.
but I like Kill it in the Morning more. I hope they have at least a couple of tracks with some of the old guitar sound on it though. It is pretty exciting seeing them try new stuff though, they're one of those bands who always seem to be evolving.
does this link fucking work or not?
Click that and you should be able to download it, but it's in a .flv file whch I thinks is really weird
ya dippy hippy
didn't like Kill Me In The Morning much either. Not looking good for the new album :(
and they are cool guys. but, like you, this track doesn't really strike me in any way. was expecting it to blow up but it didn't. hrm...
the acoustic gigs they put on a while back were great, but just made me wish they'd go back to the first album thing of blending massive shoegaze guitars with really organic, folky sounds.
His voice is too exposed in this, and while he's a really good singer I like him more when he's giving a song texture rather than being the main focus
for my website about a year ago and it's still my favouritist ever thing I've ever been involved in ever.
Sounds like We Carry On by Portishead
but nowhere near as good as Kill It In The Morning.
Very excited for the record.
The two singles that the have previewed didn’t do anything for me. If you think back last year when they released “Wrong Car” it sounded bloody brilliant and set things up perfectly for the 3rd album.
Just a bit let down from what I have heard but will still buy the album when it comes out next February
...esp. at the off-venue show at Kex. Great guys, too.
Really, really like it.
Think it's better than Kill It In The Morning, but I need a few more listens.
'Don't Move' and 'Alphabet' are awesome. 'Kill It in the Morning' is the only one I'm not digging at this point. They seem to have dropped the shoegaze tinge in favor of some post-punk/Goth stylings, which is exactly the sort of stuff I'm into at the moment. I can't wait.
all about the new record and thought some folks here might like to read it...
The new record is immense by the way.
