A couple of great tracks (Invisible Riverside, Ashes & Fire) but once again, the production job is *too* good.
It's not as Radio 2 as Easy Tiger, but it's in that direction. He seems to have lost any wildness to his writing / recording.
Probably the only artist who could go on to release another 5 below-par records and I'd still go to see him and call him one of my favourite artists regardless. I just wish he could take a couple of risks again instead of playing it safe.
