Performed Lotus Flower and Staircase
It's a good ear work.
that the brit attitude towards radiohead is so somber
They were... okay.
Maybe discuss some stuff? Did Colin make another joke?
or that is was just an "off" night for the band but I thought it was a rather lackluster performance.
convinced. at all.
but, lotus flower - wtf?
Sure I enjoyed all the "who r the radioheads? Bring back kings of leon!" tweets. But I mean, these songs didn't really impress anyone, did they? Lotus Flower is beautiful on TKOL, but it's far to glitchy and electronic live... a song like that is all about the rawness of a chiming guitar against the staggering electronic drums.
And I'm just oddly confused about 'Staircase' and 'The Daily Mail'. I like the songs a lot. I think TDM could do with a more fluid outro. The current one seems like a tacked on climax. But what are they doing with these songs? It's really strange. I hope they fine tune them and release them in their third 10/10 record... but....
I dunno okay.
vocals weren't sounding too sweet.
oh, and thom yorke is one ugly motherfucker
and it was stunning.
