When musicians die, its a time to reminisce on the music.
A time to celebrate what we love about them and maybe remember back to a set of memories that are tied into the music that they created. When people write RIP and give shoutouts on forums, twitters, mytubes and youspaces its just a way of stamping your fandom. I doubt the majority of people are deeply affected, but its just a way for people to come together in appreciation. I dont get why people get so butthurt about this.
