i love them all but...come on now
YOU come on.
surely its crocked rain crocked rain. watery domestic is the best item in their catalogue though.
It's not really that good.
but it is definitely "MAD overrated"
but a little part of me still kinda prefers Terror Twilight just because it was my first Pavement record...
It's probably my second favourite.
Great singles, but not a great album. Fifth best.
Surely everyone knows this?
I just made my own compilation to carry around.
Brighten The Corners is the least patchy though.
Yes! But he preferred Preston School of Industry so what would he know.
You used to be cool.
I'm afraid this is the end of a beautiful vaguely-knowing-on-a-messageboard.
except twilights on par with brighten the corners
I know I love Slanted and Enchanted.
I know I think Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain isn't as good as it is supposed to be.
I know Wowee Zowee is heavy going at times, but occasionally brilliant.
I know I don't ever listen to Terror Twilight.
But most of all, I know the Slack Album is my favourite way of listening to Pavement. Ahem.
But liking both hip hop and pavement, it works for me. It particularly works when the guitars get heavy near the end of the album. I thought the Grey Album was weak in comparison.
I am surprised.
Dead heat between Slanted & Enchanted and Crooked Rain.
Now THAT'S controversial.
next time I see you.
I think it's fair to say you'd end up doing that anyway.
Love Embassy Row, though.
every single song is a classic. and old to begin is one of those songs where i sing along and imagine i'm a badass rockstar being cool on stage. i know that's really uncool BUT I DON'T CARE IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD.
I couldn't imagine not owning or not having heard one of the five. There isn't even one I listen to more than the others, they each get pretty much equal airtime. All are pretty different to one another, and all equally as good.
