I AM. I want a white pony heavy, yet varied setlist please and thanks
I don't want to ruin anything (and they'll have probably manipulated it a bit) but expect a very wide selection of tunes.
I go on seltlist.fm a fair bit, as I'm a full on geek - they seem to mix up the set a lot, which is wonderful.
When I saw them at big day out in Auckland they played Lotion. So unexpected and amazing. One of their best.
If so, we got that too, and I was so upset that people got less enthused by that than they did by Back 2 School (snore!)
The intro starts almost the same as 'Be Quiet & Drive' and then within seconds it goes batshit crazy.
And when I saw them the only time the crowd properly got into it was when they played 'Change'
aaahh, festival fans....
Interviewing them for DiS too. Yup.
Should be a great gig, not only with the mighty Deftones headlining a pretty intimate venue in London, the 2 supports are of interest, haven't see either live, but been listening to both online & they both, PABH & Animals as Leaders should be good live. Much better than watching the Deftones in a wet field in Reading a few days later!!
They were incredible. Really jealous of anyone seeing them tomorrow or at Reading. When I saw them they did play a very diverse set (4 singles from diamond eyes - title track, rocket skates, youve seen the butcher and sextape - and a good mix from all their albums). Would expect them to play beauty school at reading given that it's the new single. I would kill to see royal live though... I bet they play it tomorrow. Argh. You bastards.
Though you're probably right
Well, it was just judging from the fact that they played all four previous Diamond Eyes singles at Sziget
They are so much better in small venues, though sbe isn't that small is it?
So given they normally play the Brixton Academy which is over double the capacity of the SBE, I guess this is quite intimate for them.
Just back from the gig & it was the usual high standard, can't really remember a setlist, given I've seen them quite a few times recently, it all blends into 1 & I'm getting old so I tend to forget quicker!! Will try & get 1 from setlist.fm
