Please help spread the word about these, especially the London gig as it's all for a rather good cause (there are some shocking examples of why funding for Great Ormond St is so desperately needed at the civilswitchblade site). A good friend of mine owes her ability to walk at all to GOSH - a childhood muscle wasting disease left her quadrospazzed on a lifeglug - and most people know friends or family members who've been helped, directly or indirectly, by the work the hospital does. And who knows, maybe one day you'll spawn a freakish mutant ugly child whose face can only be bent back into shape by Professional Paediatric Facenurses. Besides which, I believe the children are our future. So for one night only, let's ROCK THE CHILDREN'S FACES. Awright!
There's been loads and loads of things going on recently, and I'll do a big long e-mail as soon as our next tour's all ready to tell you about (by which time the new video'll be ready and on its way to MTV etc) - in the meantime, there's some confirmed dates and some tbc dates on the website at www.missblackamerica.net
One thing we've definitely confirmed is that our new single and album will be out properly, all over the place, on Ruby Slippers Records/Cargo in October - details to follow very soon...
Bye for now
love from Seymour xxx
P.S. - I asked Mat if he wanted to write something but he was too busy printing pictures of the A-Team to stick on his wall. I pity the fool.
