Well, at least it's better than anything Beady Eye have ever done
It is. I really lke it, nice tune overall, exactly what you'd expect.
sounds far too similar to the importance of being idle which in itself was shit
Unfortunately I'm not interested enough to read all of that to find out if there's a logical explanation or a massive conspiracy
I dont think the view count updates itself as quickly.
Pleasant and instantly forgettable.
but certainly better than any of the Beady Eye songs i've heard.
...2,010 likes? WTF?
Him making it, me listening to it, me posting here.
What would he do without his rhyming dictionary I wonder?
but the music is ok. it reminds me of when Panic at the disco made an album of songs ripping off the beatles.
But that's about it
How can that happen? How can something so hideous become an album cover? Incomprehensible.
The one for Heathen Chemistry is infinitely worse than that (and uses the same effect if memory serves)
not a patch on http://images.drownedinsound.com/images/65372.jpeg
supporting Primal Scream at Shepherds Bush back in 1994. He was really funny & engaging & his set had a real soulfulness & lightness of touch. Was hoping that his solo stuff would be in a similar vein but sounds like the plodding pub rock of the last few Oasis albums. A real shame.
I liked it.
noel gallagher can write!
wait, does this mean he can read too?
Totally boring music, made by a totally boring man.
but i was
naff song, stupid video.
I think 'Millionaire' by Beady Eye is about 60 times better than this.
This is quite nice, if a little boring.
was speculating on what his new stuff will sound like yesterday with my brother, i said "i wonder how many times the word 'soul' is used on the album."
that's once already in his first single.
like how the guy from feeder says "pulling me down" in every single feeder song post-echo park, noel gallagher sings about "souls" in every album since oasis sacked the proper lineup and replaced em with that fella who wishes he was paul and andy bell.
youtube comment: "First, a Jefferson Airplane song name check for his new band. Second, the Byrdsy feel to the song. What's not to like. I hope that this is the weakest song on the album. Nice one Noel."
If The Byrds ever made a single song that sounds anything like this, I'm David Crosby's lovechild.
'Thick As Thieves' by Kasabian...
which is a bit like Paul Weller turning to The Enemy for inspiration.
(Not that Oasis are anything like as important/significant as Paul Weller.)
