  • I never really used to get the appeal of Fleet Foxes beyond a couple of tracks

    but I saw them recently and they were really incredible live - they opened with the short instrumental The Cascades and then launched into this which left me pretty speechless at the time:

    and someone put Jeff Buckley's "so real" on, and in my semi-conscious state it still blew me away. Only just tracked down what it was that was playing, and it's beautiful. Sounds similar to Slint, with those amazing vocals.
