I am and I can't bloody wait! I've only seen him once before and that was at Glastonbury years ago.
Saw him at 93 feet east (supporting Yeti), and The Metro supporting Editors and The Bravery. Think I saw him at the Guardian lounge at Glasto too.
Looking forward to this evening, even if it is at Heaven.
and both have sounded pretty good. If that's your worry?
I don't remember beer being cheap though.
hoping it's good!
but i'm assured it'll be worth my while to see mr vek too.
Brenton were really good and got a good turn out and decent reaction from the crowd (the was some dancing, a lot of noise from them) Tom Vek came on and started with 'Nothing By Greenlights' and 'World Of Doubt' which were both decent but underwhelming but after that the show was pretty much flawless and the crowd got REALLY into it especially with songs like 'A.P.O.L.O.G.Y' 'Nothing But Green Lights' 'A Chore' 'If You Want' & 'I Ain't Saying Goodbye'.... so much dancing going on and singing... even played an encore which surprised me (that was Apology) considering I heard he hadn't been playing encores this tour. Overall a brilliant gig & concorde 2 was the PERFECT venue for it, both in terms of size and sound... the bass there is incredible :)
Did he play it?
One Horse Race.
Here's some photoz I took:
