Why is this?
it's really good
but its still slightly irritating.
The last Frightened Rabbit album didn't appear on Spotify for months and months even though all the singles were there.
Long story, but I can currently only access music via my Sonos wireless music system, which means internet radio or spottily.
I've noticed there's quite a few of this year's releases I want to check out not on there:
Friendly Fires, Antlers, Austra, Bill Callahan, The Weeknd, Big KRIT, DJ Quik, Mountain Goats, Earth, Deerhoof
There's still loads of new stuff on there and although the £9.99 I spend monthly on the premium service, I do get a bit miffed waiting for some stuff to get on there.
spottily ha ha
I demand 11 albums for a tenner! RAWWWR!
the £9.99 is the best money I spend all month
JFC, I hate posting on iPads
It's only £6.99 on iTunes and the whole album was streaming on the Guardian website for a while and few other places - ample opportunity for anyone to realise how good it is.
It's just the randomness of some releases not appearing on Spotify for a while.
They took Suede's back catalogue off a few months ago, but the new extended remaster of their debut is on there now.
I can understand record companies holding back on albums like Smoher and Pala, but on the whole it seems quite random as to whether an album appears on Spotify on its release.
