£5.95 inc booking fees!
they were unbelievable in islington a few weeks back
Would have liked to have gone, but seeing the mighty Mono on the same night at KOKO.
I'm really lukewarm on Trail Of Dead to be honest, but for that price might be worth catching.
because it is some sponsored event 'session' thing
you answered your own question!
nice one :)
They were *incredible* at Islington a few weeks back.
and any support?
are two suppprt bands. One is ICe Sea Dead people, dunno the second one
I bought from Ticketweb though as I'm not sure a posted ticket would arrive in time and it seemed to be the only option with Stargreen.
Anyone know stage times?
and they said they were on at 8.30 - they are headlining at the Old Blue Last later tonight as well, crazy! great band though.
Ears don't work, bruised ribs, neck won't move, sprained thumb whilst holding onto the barrier BUT awesome set from the band and thankfully varied from the previous shows a few weeks ago. Band seemed, er, drunk (especially Jason who looked like he was on something else, all wide eyed and maniacal grins) and slightly off in places (Weight of the Sun was horrendously out of tune in every aspect, jason pointing at frets on the bass with a drumstick mid song to correct Autry's playing, the snare drum got broken) but if I wanted a slick show I'd go see muse or something. Bloody great.
This better not be the band's final hurrah or precursor to hiatus, they're so on form at the moment. Conrad's already compiling a list of places not to bother with on tour it would seem so I hope they're still a going concern...
Compiling a list of places not to bother with on tour?
Comments like telling Swedish fans they'll have to travel to Norway to see them next time, and a couple of places in Canada he said they will be leaving off any future tours, they're burning bridges!
there's at least a foot and a half's difference in height between the average member of ToD and Dave Grohl...
IceSeaDeadPeople - wonderful, like all the best bands at silver rocket five years ago
Turbogeist - HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE. Abysmal mix of PUB ROCK PRETENDING TO BE PUNK ROCK and the type of bad UK soft rock we thought we'd seen the last of when Skin and Thunder broke up. Apart from the bassist who seemed a likeable chap, the band were the sort of, I dunno, imagine all the attendents at Sound Control/Denmark Street shops forming a band, a three guitar wankathon with songs about copping off with girls and something they read in richard littlejohn's column once. They were like a band of local heroes you'd expect to see on the Northampton/Peterborough circuit where nu-metal is still considered acceptable. GOD, THEY WERE AWFUL.
like watching a shit school band play the end of year assembly. came across as bunch of complete wankers as well, which given the lead singer is Mick Jagger's son, isn't a surprise i guess
