Wild Beasts 'Smother'
So the first single was on Radio 1 last night:

That's a stream not a download in case anyone gets uppity.
Hoping for more Limbo Panto than Two Dancers. Hayden sounded off his head as usual in the pre-amble interview with Huw Stephens. In a good way!

Wild Beasts
Nice start.
This record could be very very good. Impossible to tell either way from this track, but it certainly hasn't dampened my expectations.
An 'Oh yes'
Compared to the Arctic Monkeys 'Oh no.'
Domino are properly streaming Albatross now

Never listened to Wild Beasts before
But that song is fucking brilliant.
Listen to Two Dancers RIGHT NOW
Can't wait for Smother. More hyped for an album than I have been for a loooong time.
Limbo Panto was good but Two Dancers was way better
by the sounds of things this album is in a similar vein
big bass
falsetto vocals, dreamy piano vibes - its like a poppier version of recent Radiohead. In other words, aces
Would be a bold move if they reverted to the "Limbo, Panto" style...
...and probably not a good one either, Two Dancers wasn't just more popular, it was also a stronger album
Limbo Panto isn't very good on the whole
even if it does have their best song on it.
More Two Dancers plz.
Not sure about this song so far though.
S'alright though.
Oh no
looks like I'm gonna be spending another year of my life listening to them then. Just so addictive.
