Mongo Santamaria - Cold Sweat
i saw them a few times a number of years ago and they'd brought the killers over to support them. error.
Welsh surfery kinda music. It's good! http://yniwl.bandcamp.com/

From her very good new album Tell Me

heard them on laverne's show on monday, and rather liked
pretty incredible. In my own on the office today, so blasting a load of stuff nice and loud.
For the fifth time in a row...
streaming on npr
The track, not the album. 'Cos the album isn't out yet and I'm not naughty. It's a fucking brilliant song. They were cracking live last night, too.
think you can still stream this almighty sucka but I can't actually see soundcloud at work:
Speed on the M9. <3
in central Florida.
But as soon as he's finished, I'm gonna fire up Electro-Cuties by Funkadelic.
Balance her in between your eyes.
Off one of the albums of the year for me so far. Amazing
it's a pleasant listen
it's brilliant, but I don't get the return-to-form chat that goes with it, 'Century of The Self' was great too.
so lovely. really deep, skewqed/warpoed hypnagogic instrumental stuff. Similar to Matrix Metals, how it's all hall-of-mirrors wobbly. Has some serious tweaked grooved in it.
two tracks on Altered Zones for youz
Just listening to their early stuff for the first time. Oh the shame!
I really, really like it.
good work, sweetverbs! make sure you give Cast of Thousands a go too.
and by the time yoou read this I'll be listening to this:
top notch stuff, the drummer is sick!
Geographers EP Animal Shapes
on ABSOLUTE 80s as I sit out the dying embers of the working week.
Check out the video for a chuckle. Barking mad and utterly pretentious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWvzZCZF1gw

Earlier today I played 'High Scores' by Boards of Canada at the wrong speed because I couldn't be arsed to take the platter off the record player to see if was on 33. It was brilliant. For two tracks, anyway.
....and you should be listening to this too!
you're a walking miracle ahOoOOoo
