Hullo - long time since I've been round these parts, but just wanted to mention this in case anyone missed it.
Vincent Moon (La Blogotheque's Take-Away Shows, Mogwai's 'Burning' film, etc etc) has teamed up with Danish band Efterklang to produce a music film of them playing in some random locations in Denmark, improvising songs etc.
There are trailers and more information at http://anisland.cc, and it looks like it'll be a real treat, in the vein of Sigur Ros' Heima, for example.
Best thing is, it's not being released generally, but people can show it for free wherever they want - cafés, libraries, lounges - anywhere in the world.
You can find other "Public/Private" screenings that have been organised at the An Island website above. And if there isn't one in your town, you can organise one!
It can even be private, just set it up and set it to be 'fully booked'.
Has anyone seen it yet? Also, the band are touring in the coming weeks - I think they are either showing the film alongside, or before they play.
