Brit-hop LP of the year.
and his guitarist & drummer seemed to make his whole sound completely different to that youtube vid (and he played that song at the gig). I wasn't overly impressed at the show but I really like that! Hmmmmmz.
I didn't really get him live either, but I really like his stuff on record. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that the band made the tunes a lot more upbeat and less moody than the recorded tunes are.

It's on right now. Great record.
playing in a Portsmouth bar I frequent on Friday, love the album and can't quite believe that I'd never heard of this guy before.
I think it's quite boring, in hindsight.
Had it on the other day, when hearing new Dels sent me back to his last album; and subsequently GP's album.
Appreciate it is an acquired taste - the beats move slow, his raps are leisurely.
But I love the turns of phrase... there's something quite quaint about the scenarios he paints.
Some ya like, some ya don't. There is no right nor wrong.
