Only just getting into him now. Can't see anything being better than Unspoken. It's perfect.
but so is 'Pause'. They are the two albums that I consistently reach for when I need a Four Tet fix. It's hard to narrow down what his best song is, so I would just give both of these a listen to start with.
And if it's not, it'll be something else off the second half of Rounds. Or, possibly, the first half of Everything Ecstatic. But it's probably Unspoken.
The only other track that comes close for me is "And Then Patterns" which is also great.
'Smile Around the Face' due to the way it manages to capture pure unbridled joy in sound wave form or 'My Angel Rocks Back and Forth', one of the most melancholy tracks out there.
it's so great
throw me some stones, but i'm conformist and i like "as serious as your life", sound like a radio hit but i enjoy the beat anytime
can't be touched for me, Unspoken is almost as good though
Lack of consensus on this issue indicates that he's just generally great.
Dialogue doesn't get enough shouts either
