I'm doing both. All the cool kids will be at both.
going to be at both
i think someone fucked up with this presale, you were only supposed to get access if you pre-ordered the album too. I'm not complaining.
WOT NO MANCHESTER
Nottingham's too far away for me to get to with the paltry amount on annual leave i've got left. :(
Hopefully some more dates will be announced around the Royal Albert Hall show. Be GUTTED if i don't get to see them before they call it a day.
Thanks for posting this.
A valentines day that wont be filled with misery and despair for once, oh wait...
or has the pre-sale bit just gone?
That's a bit odd.
Unless I just got through when there was only 1 left.
so I guess that was the last one.
There's more going on sale on friday
Easy come, easy go :(
there's less than 100 tickets on it though...
and everyone complaining about how they played all of the new album and only five older songs, three of which were from Cassadaga :D
but I figure it's fairly justified in a small venue. He always plays loads of stuff from whatever his current album is, and I'd quite like to hear the new songs live anyway.
this is what I get for not being near the computer 24/7. Anyone know if more will be going on sale and when?
wasn't meant to go here
according to an email I just received.
that's south of scotland but north of nottingham
in the middle of the country - the amount of bands who come over and do London/Glasgow/Manchester, all on week nights, is silly. They're all round the fucking edge!
I'd say it's in the northwest, and it's difficult to get to on public transport from a lot of places because the Peak District is in the way. It's obviously a good place to put gigs on, but it would be nice if more bands also played a date somewhere like Birmingham/Nottingham/Leicester, that's actually accessible for all the people who live in the midlands.
and Conor said "I'm not going to fuckin Birmingham, Alabama in the middle of a UK tour!"
alternatively: you're never going to make everyone happy, and this is a low-key tour prior to/around the album release, probably being combined with a large number of press events. the one he did prior to Cassadaga was London and Oxford and nothing else.
My point was that it makes a nice change for them to have a date somewhere in the midlands on such a small tour, not complaining about the lack of other dates. They're actually pretty well distributed in terms of north to south, and I was replying to the person above me who wanted a date south of Scotland but north of Nottingham.
Bright Eyes also cancelled a show in Nottingham a few years ago and didn't come back, which might be why they're playing there now.
the gab between the dates in Glasgae and Nottingham. Won't hold my breath though
i didn't put this here!
by "suspect", I mean "hope"
