I despise articles like this.
It seems ridiculous attempting to draw arbitrary lines between producers as though everything's distanced so much as to reach entirely different places. And the fact that the 'ten records that changed dubstep' are ALL from 2010, it doesn't suggest much in the way of hindsight beyond this year.

Wonder if any of those terms are used by anyone, you only see future garage as a sly dig now really and post dubstep gets cringed at more often than not the rest don't exists apart from in this article as far as I can tell haha. I wonder how many people take this article seriously? Do people think these sub-genres exist? I sware the only term thats sticking is bass music and it doesn't get a mention.
It'll give some insight to this years sounds to anyone that stumbels upon the shite that is this playgroundmag article in this thread and even think about taking it seriously.
Why did they tag on a perfectly good Shackleton interview on the third page as well? that shouldn't be burried I fucking hate click thru pages on the internet they seem pointless.
